Prawns Masala is a simple yet delicious and packed with flavor. This is easy and quick recipe where prawns are added into onion-tomato gravy spiced with few spices. This dish goes well with dosa, roti and steamed rice.

- Prawns - 500 gms
- Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Onion - 5
- Curry leaves - 1 string
- Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
- Tomato - 5
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander leaves for garnishing
Method :
- Heat oil in a pan/kadai. Add mustard seeds.
- When it splutters add onion and curry leaves. Fry till golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and fry till raw smell goes away.
- Add tomato and cook till mushy.
- Add in all the dry spice powders and fry for a minute.
- Now add prawns and cook till it is soft.
- Switch off the flame and garnish with coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or roti.
