Mango Lassi

It's summer and season of mangoes. So here comes the first recipe with mangoes, Mango Lassi. This creamy, smooth, rich and delicious mango lassi is best to beat the heat during summers and an added flavor for the usual lassi.


Serves - 2 Person

Ingredients :
  • Mango Pulp from 2 Mangoes - 1 cup approx.
  • Curd (Plain Yoghurt) - 1 cup
  • Milk - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 3 to 4 tbsp
  • Cardamom - 1
Method :
  • Take out pulp from 2 mangoes and put them in the blender. I have used Alphonso mangoes.
  • To this add chilled plain curd and milk along with sugar and cardamom.
  • Blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve chill. You can add few ice cubes before serving or keep it in the refrigerator for some time and serve.

Tips : 
  • Adjust milk quantity according to desired thickness.
  • Quantity of sugar depends on the sweetness of mangoes. Initially add 2 tbsp. Check and then add more.
  • Lassi can be refrigerated for upto 24 hours.
