Avocado Milkshake

Avocado Milkshake is a very healthy and delicious milkshake recipe. Avocado milkshake also known as butter fruit milkshake is one among the list in most of the juice centers. This is my favorite milkshake since I tasted it because of its unique taste and goodness. It is easily available in supermarkets these days. Avocado is a healthy fruit which has zero cholesterol and good source of minerals and vitamins. Intake of avocado also reduces level of cholesterol. So include this delicious milkshake recipe in your daily diet.
Avocado can be used only when its perfectly ripe else u cant taste a bit of it and you have to throw the entire fruit. Ripe avocado is usually in dark green or black in color. To check for its ripeness hold them in the palm of your hand. Gently squeeze the avocado, being careful not to press with your finger tips as it can cause bruising. A ripe avocado will be soft and will yield to the gentle pressure, but will not be over squishy. If it is still hard, then it is still under ripe and it will take few days to ripen. You may still opt to purchase under ripe avocados and ripen them at home.
This milkshake uses only 2 ingredients milk and sugar with avocado. Its usually thick in consistency. You can make it thinner by adding more milk or water. So lets jump into the making of this delicious milkshake.



Ingredients :

  • Ripe Avocado/ Butter fruit - 1
  • Cold Milk - 1 1/2 cup
  • Sugar - 4 tbsp
Method :
  • Wash and cut the avocado into two parts. It has a big seed in the center. So cut it length-wise around the seed. Twist and pull apart so that one part will have the seed and other part without.
  • With the help of a spoon scoop out the seed.
  • Scoop out the flesh by running a spoon around the edge of the avocado.
  • Roughly chop the avocado and take it in a mixer along with milk and sugar.
  • Blend it to a smooth puree. Check for consistency and sweetness.
  • Pour it into glasses and serve chill.
